Billing & Plans

What are my options for trying Cluetide AI before I pay?

Two options: 14 days free with no payment card needed (up to 500 mentions), or 28 days free with a payment card on file (up to 1,000 mentions) on the plan of your choice. Cancel either at no cost during the trial.

What happens when my free trial ends?

If you started with no card, your account converts to Starter, and you'll need to add billing details to keep going past the trial's limits. If you started the 28-day card-on-file trial, it converts automatically to the plan you chose at signup, and we email you a reminder before that first charge goes through. You can cancel during either trial at no cost.

How do plan limits and mention caps work?

Each plan includes a monthly cap on monitored mentions (500 on Free Trial, 5,000 on Starter, 25,000 on Professional, 150,000 on Premium; Enterprise is custom and uncapped by this mechanism). Once you cross 80% of your plan's cap for the current calendar month, you will see an in-app notice and receive one email pointing at the next tier up. This is an informational heads-up, not a hard cutoff — monitoring does not stop when you cross it.

What is the Premium trial and how do I activate it?

Starter and Professional subscribers can activate a single one-time, 7-day free trial of Premium's reply-automation features (the configurable lead score threshold and Full auto-send) directly from the Reply Automation page. No billing changes automatically and no credit card is required. When the trial ends, any setting your actual plan does not allow automatically reverts to a safe default — settings your plan already allows are left untouched.

Channels

How do I connect my Instagram account?

Go to Connections and click Connect Instagram. You will be sent through Instagram's OAuth consent screen and asked to authorize Cluetide AI. Instagram only exposes comment access for professional (business or creator) accounts, so a personal account will not work. Once connected, click Sync now to pull in recent comments, or wait for the automatic background sync, which runs periodically per connection.

What happens when I disconnect a channel?

Disconnecting a channel is a soft delete: its status flips to disconnected and it stops syncing new comments, but every mention, enrichment result, and lead it already produced stays exactly as it was. You can reconnect the same account at any time without losing that history.

Lead Scoring

How does lead scoring work?

Every mention that passes an initial relevance pre-filter is classified for intent, sentiment, and entities, then scored using a mix of recency, channel weight, and keyword-match signals to produce an AI Lead Score and Purchase Intent Score. A mention only becomes an actionable lead once it clears your account's qualifying threshold (15 by default). Premium and Enterprise plans can tune this threshold themselves under Reply Automation; other plans use the platform default.

Product Catalog

How do I add products to my catalog?

Go to Products and click + Add product to insert a new row inline — name, description, price, discount price, coupon code, landing page URL, and SEO keywords. Products are shown in a horizontal, spreadsheet-style table so you can see every product and attribute at once. Catalog size is limited by plan (0 on Free Trial, which uses the free-text business description instead; 10 on Starter; 100 on Professional; unlimited on Premium and Enterprise). Deleting a product is a soft delete — it is preserved for any lead or reply that already referenced it.

Reply Automation

What is the difference between Manual, QC then send, and Full auto-send?

Manual (available on every plan) drafts a suggested reply and leaves sending entirely to you. QC then send (Professional and above) drafts a reply and holds it in a review queue for a configurable window; you can approve it early or let the window elapse, or reject it to keep it from sending. Full auto-send (Premium and Enterprise only, currently Beta) sends the drafted reply immediately with no human review step, but only for replies that are product-grounded — see the next article. You can revert to Manual at any time from Reply Automation settings.

What does "product-grounded" mean for auto-send eligibility?

A reply is product-grounded when the mention was matched against an active row in your Product Catalog (by product name or SEO keywords). A landing page URL is optional: replies to Instagram comments never include a link, and point customers to the link in your bio instead. Full auto-send is only ever allowed for product-grounded replies — a generic or best-effort draft with no confident product match is never eligible for auto-send and is automatically handled as Manual (or QC, if that is your configured mode) instead, regardless of your reply mode setting.

Account & Notifications

How do I control which leads I get emailed about?

From your dashboard, toggle "Email me about new leads" to turn lead notification emails on or off for your account. This preference is per user, not per workspace, so each teammate controls their own notifications independently.
